Blank parts missmatch window

Can someone tell me what this means?

I downloaded the settings for one of the hotlap cars.

I load it so I know what upgrades to buy, because the parts mismatch screen that comes up tells you what's missing.

I buy all the required upgrades, but the the parts missmatch screen comes up again, but it's blank!

There must be something wrong with my upgrades... but what?

that happens if you put all the right parts... but don't have the right engine installed(you can still put the parts on... but since its not the right engine you have put the engine parts on, it won't load the setup)
