I started a Forza fansite.

I really have no idea what I'm doing because I've never video gamed before, ever.
I started my website for work research. I'm using the game to learn how to race and how to tune. From there, I'm applying what I've learned to my job and blogging about the entire experience. Crazy but true.

Post a little introduction about yourself and make yourself known to the rest of Forza Center.
Perhaps the topic description is the problem. Did I misread the topic title?
It's one thing to remove the link. It's pretty silly to kickban her from the site. Particularly since she's linking back to you. Way to show community support!

That's because I've been making sites for 10 years. Forza Girl didn't even know how to use a message board until a few weeks ago. All I'm writing is that perhaps you could have been a bit more forgiving. She's a really down-to-earth person and didn't intentionally set out to break any board rules. Looking at the topic description, I probably would have done the same thing. And yeah, this board might be dead but in the next month or so, there's going to be a whole new group of people who may have never played any kind of a racing sim. They are going to be looking for resources and help. You could ban people and turn them away or you can welcome them, and perhaps even try to help them. You're in Europe, right? How many boards are localized for Europe? The only other board I know of is the UK board (awesome board and site, BTW). If you change your mind, let me know. We'd love to re-link you and offer any help we can. The site will also be covering the Formula D Championship Finals this weekend from Irwindale Raceway. We can even float you some content if you would like.

Good job the site is dead...lol, this sort of thing would have stuck a big knife in...lol Nah, I'm just kidding with you. seriously I know where your coming from that the site is dead an all. Pity FM2 isn't all it should have been ForzaGirls site by the way looks really well constructed and a whole heap of information all in one area. If only I had the same passion with FM2 that FM1 gave me, I can't even be bothered doing paints it's that bad. I really feel T10 have let the real fans down this time round, FM2 just feels like FM1 in HD.........sadly. As for being the only one who reads and posts......I read but rarely post anything, trying to let the ship sink gracefully.....lol. |
