Hey all, im new here and i need some help. With xlink kai, is there only 2 arena's for 'Forza?, because the only 2 i see are: 'Patched' and 'Unpatched' and i rarly see anyone online in those arena's.
Also, once i tried to buy cars from another user but for some unknown reason it wouldn't let me buy any of his, even though he had them up for sale.
Any help here would be great...

To answer your first question: I guess the game is just not so popular anymore now that most old kai users(in forza) has moved on to xboxlive and forza 2.
The second question is a little more hard to answer specific. but it has been a known nuisance that some games just not "work well together"
you might need a "translator" meaning a guy that can buy from others and sell to you.
I have often had problems with connection to certain people.. but I could connect to others, who then could connect to the people I had troubles connecting to, and I then sold the cars to who I could... and they would pass the cars further on.
but if theres just you and some other guy in the room.... and you cannot connect, I would say you are screwed:-)

Fair enough.
Im in Australia and the guy i was trying to buy cars from is in the UK, would this caus any problems with the connection because of the distance?

well i think that maybe getting the same servers would help try getting the ip address that ends in .175 thats what i always use and i connect to people that i usually wouldnt with that ip.you know how to get the servers box appear dont ya killing?where it says downloading system state on the start up of kai click exactly where it says downloading state and youll see the list,hope you figure it out and give it a try.if not then just tune up your cars from here and lets have some good cup races!

Yeh i do lol, but in the 'Forza' section, I only ever see 2 servers, no more and no less. I guess ill just have to get my cars tuned up when i get the time.

no bruv your getting mixed up,when you start up kai not when you go into the "forza section" in the "forza section there is only 2 patched and unpatched,patched is for xboxlive updated xboxs and the other is not. As soon as you start the program of kai click where it says downloading system state and a box will appear,keep at it cos sometimes i see 15 0r 20 and sometimes only 5,it just depends on your timing. MOD EDIT: When you begin the PC aplication of Kai there is the start up dialogue box, on that box is the progress bar, underneath the bar is 'downloading system state'.....this is what dvdgurner is talking of....but this is going on the basis that you start the PC side of Kai first.....which isn't always the case for everyone.
